In this brief clip, the importance of attention is explained in a very easy to understand way. 

Alan Watts explains that meditation is. He makes an important distinction between words, labels and symbols on the one hand and reality on the other hand, which can never be captured by any word or concept. Meditation can help us to contact to a reality beyond stories and words. 

Eckhart Tolle explains the power of regularly paying attention to our breathing. By paying attention to our breath, even when this is done for only a short period of time, can help us to make contact with the present moment again and step outside our thinking
